Senior Attorney & Director, Connecticut Office
Bill Dornbos is Senior Attorney and Director of the Connecticut Office of Acadia Center. Bill focuses on advancing policy and regulatory solutions that seek to transform the energy system and move Connecticut towards a climate-safe, sustainable future. Bill’s work includes advocating for electricity pricing reforms that maximize consumer control and incentivize energy efficiency and local renewables and advising the state’s energy efficiency programs through a seat on Connecticut’s Energy Efficiency Board. Before Acadia Center, Bill worked at the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy, at the Natural Resources Defense Council, and in the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York Attorney General’s Office. He has a JD from the University of Michigan Law School, an MS in Resource Policy and Behavior also from U of M, and a BA in History from Carleton College.
