Acadia Center’s work in 2025 focused on four critical areas:

• We strengthened state climate action, supporting states and cities with data and evidence-backed solutions needed to demonstrate the economic and health benefits of moving forward.
• We deployed rapid-response expertise to combat misinformation, rebutting disinformation campaigns with facts that help decision-makers and communities understand the real benefits of clean energy.
• We advanced new visions of multi-state cooperation, demonstrating how collaboration can achieve billions in consumer savings, a stronger power grid, and faster pollution reductions.
• We worked directly with communities to shape a clean energy future that addresses energy affordability and rectifies the legacy of pollution burdens on environmental justice communities.
