Amy Boyd

Director of Policy

Amy Boyd is the Director of Policy and Senior Attorney in Acadia Center’s Boston office. She works on energy efficiency, demand management, local energy resources, grid modernization, and climate change issues, with a particular focus on Massachusetts state policy. Amy holds Acadia Center’s seat on the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Advisory Council, a stakeholder board that works with utilities to carry out their mandate to purchase all cost-effective energy efficiency. Amy comes to Acadia Center from Foley Hoag LLP in Boston, where she was an associate in the Environmental Practice Group & Administrative Department for 8 years. Amy serves on the Sustainability Committee for her adopted hometown of Natick. Prior to law school, Amy managed political campaigns in Oklahoma and New Jersey. Amy holds a JD cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law and a BA in Environmental Studies from Wellesley College.
