Matt Rusteika is Senior Policy Analyst at Acadia Center, based in the Boston office. Matt leads Acadia Center’s Buildings Initiative.

Matt’s background includes experience at the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, where he coordinated the Energy Efficiency Advisory Council’s oversight of Massachusetts’ nation-leading energy efficiency plan. Before that, Matt worked as an analyst at NMR Group, leading research to evaluate energy efficiency programs across the U.S. and Canada. He also has experience as a candidate for public office.

Matt comes to Acadia Center from the DesignLights Consortium, where he led strategic planning efforts. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from Brown University and a bachelor’s degree in writing & literature from Emerson College. Matt lives in an all-electric home in Scituate, MA with his wife, two sons, and dog.
