Taylor Binnington is a Senior Policy Analyst, based in Hartford with Acadia Center’s Climate and Energy Analysis (CLEAN) Center. He supports the CLEAN Center’s advocacy through energy policy modeling and analyzing emissions reduction measures. He has consulted at the state level to develop deep climate mitigation pathways and has extensive experience across Asia and the Middle East, working with national energy planners towards targets under the Paris Agreement. Before coming to Acadia Center, Taylor was a staff scientist with the Stockholm Environment Institute.

Taylor obtained an M.Sc. in physical geography from the University of Toronto, where he studied wind farm siting. He also holds M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in theoretical physics from the University of Guelph, Canada.
