Acadia Center Joins Coalition Comments on Time of Use Rates in MA

Acadia Center joined a coalition of environmental and clean energy advocates in submitting joint comments advocating for certain considerations in the evaluation and implementation of time of use (TOU) rates in Massachusetts in response to the Department of Energy Resources' TOU rates proposal. Our recommendations center around customer protections, considerations around rebound peaks, operational changes to facilitate TOU supply rates, implementation and marketing considerations, support for critical peak pricing, data gathering, and DPU process and sequencing considerations.
