Acadia Center Comments in Response to DEEP’s Request for Qualification (RFQ) for Community Resource Hubs in Connecticut’s Environmental Justice Communities

Acadia Center recently submitted comments in response to DEEP’s proposed Community Resource Hubs in environmental justice communities through a draft RFQ. Acadia Center supports the proposed program and advises that the transparency and outreach at this initial stage of the planning be sustained throughout the implementation of the final RFQ for the Community Resource Hubs. We also urge the DEEP to welcome recommendations from the CEEJAC and other equity and environmental justice advisory boards to help shape the program effectively.
