Acadia Center’s Comments Submitted to DEEP on Their IRP and Transmission Solutions White Paper

Acadia Center submitted written comments to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) in response to their Notice of Proceeding and Request for Public Comments pertaining to the 2025 Integrated Resources Plan (IRP) process, as well as DEEP's recently released Transmission Solutions Whitepaper. Acadia Center's comments supported the Department's direction on transmission and encouraged the IRP scoping process to include updated and ambitious assumptions pertaining to load growth, energy efficiency, interregional transmission, and beyond.
