Pooja Banerjee

Pooja Banerjee is the Director, Foundations and Major Gifts.  She leads the efforts to manage, grow, and strengthen the organization’s relationships with foundations and major donors. In collaboration with the President, program teams, and development staff, she plays a key role in expanding institutional support and advancing major gift development.

Pooja brings more than 17 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, with a deep focus on fundraising strategy and donor stewardship. Throughout her career, she has successfully developed and implemented initiatives to cultivate and sustain meaningful relationships with institutional donors for national and international nonprofits.

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University.
