Acadia Center comments on alternative regulatory proposals in DPU 20-80 (Future of Gas)

Acadia Center recently submitted comments on alternative regulatory proposals in DPU 20-80. Acadia Center expressed concerns with much of the modeling around hydrogen and RNG, particularly around greenhouse gas emissions, supply, and cost. Acadia Center also took issues with proposals around RNG and hydrogen put forth by the utilities, as they relied upon this modeling. Our organization did submit positive concepts however, calling for an independent planning authority, as outlined in our RESPECT proposal, and enhanced energy efficiency programs for the Commonwealth.
