Erin McCarten

Erin McCarten is Manager of Operations and Services at Acadia Center. She supports organizational operations, internal systems, and cross-team coordination to ensure effective day-to-day execution of Acadia Center’s work.

Erin brings more than 20 years of experience in operations, human resources, and financial management. Prior to joining Acadia Center, she held leadership roles in clean energy and service-based organizations, where she led cross-functional operations, workforce development, and performance management, and built systems to improve workflow efficiency, accountability, and organizational alignment.

She is particularly focused on strengthening internal processes, improving operational clarity, and supporting collaborative, mission-driven teams.

Erin holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy from Unity College. She lives in Maine with her family, where she enjoys time at the beach, gardening, music, and keeping up with her three active sons.
