Acadia Center Advocates Interconnection Reforms to Cut Wait-times for Clean Energy
Acadia Center, Sustainable FERC, and partners filed comments advocating interconnection reforms to advance clean energy in Federal Energy Regulatory Commission rulemaking RM22-14. Interconnection reforms are critical to shorten the time it takes to bring clean energy online in New England and across the nation. Without reform decarbonization will lag and otherwise viable clean energy projects will not come to fruition due to extremely long wait-times to connect to the electric grid.
