Acadia Center Comments on Efficiency Maine Trust’s Triennial Plan V
Acadia Center comments in response to Efficiency Maine Trust's Request for Information (RFI) on its Triennial Plan V (Fiscal Years 2023-2025). Efficiency Maine requested comments on its next three-year plan for energy efficiency programs, with a focus on beneficial electrification, equity, climate, and other key ideas. Acadia Center comments emphasize the four pillars of Next Generation Energy Efficiency - affordable housing, climate mitigation, electrification, and sustained investment – as necessary components of a robust state efficiency policy.
This is the first opportunity to influence Maine’s energy efficiency policies and programs through 2025, and sets the stage for addition input on the draft plan when it arrives in summer 2021.
