Acadia Center Joins Climate and Community Advocates Call for Public Process for the RI Department of Transportation’s Carbon Reduction Plan

Acadia Center spearheads letter on behalf of 23 climate and community organizations regarding the development of the RI Department of Transportation (RI DOT)’s Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP). Advocates urge RI DOT to (a) share a draft of the CRP for public review and comment as soon as possible, and to (b) host a public forum. Concerns regarding CRP methodology and approach are also flagged. The CRP has significant implications for how transportation projects will be analyzed and funded in the years and decades to come.
