Acadia Center and RGGI Advocates Coalition Partners Submitted Comments for the RGGI Third Program Review

Acadia Center and RGGI Advocates Coalition recently submitted comments for the third RGGI Program Review in response to the public meeting hosted by RGGI Inc. on March 29, 2023. In response to the request for comments on the electricity sector analysis of the RGGI program Review, the coalition has provided clear recommendations on the Cost Containment Reserve (CCR), Emissions Containment Reserve (ECR), and Price Reserve. In addition, the coalition also recommends that equity and environmental justice considerations shape the third program review and for states to allocate, equitably, direct investment to well-defined and accepted geographical areas considered to be environmental justice communities.
