Acadia Center Submits Comments on Connecticut’s Offshore Wind Draft RFP

Acadia Center submitted comments to Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on the importance of considering the B.A.S.I.C.S. Transmission Principles, developed individually and as part of the New England for Offshore Wind coalition, when drafting their final offshore wind procurement request for proposals. We also suggest coordinated plans for early and long-term outreach within all communities that may be affected by infrastructure development, including environmental justice communities.
