Acadia Center Submits Environmental Coalition Clean Heat Standard Comments

Acadia Center recently led efforts to draft coalition comments about a Clean Heat Standard on to which over 60 groups and individuals signed. As with previous comments on the topic, the comments request that DEP 1) ensure equity in CHS program design, and 2) prohibit alternative fuel blending as a compliance pathway for gas utilities. They also address what believe are misleading claims being made by some parties throughout the process and ask for several improvements to the process.
