Acadia Center Submits Pre-Filed Testimony in the Eversource CT Rate Case
Acadia Center's representation submitted pre-filed testimony from Acadia Center's own Will Taylor, as well as pre-filed testimony by Vote Solar's Lindsay Griffin, who we jointly sponsored with CLF. These two testimonies address aspects of Eversource CT's Performance-Based Ratemaking (PBR) plan, including significant pieces of the Company's Multi-Year Rate Plan, Performance Incentive Mechanisms, and Targeted System Plan. Overall, the two testimonies recommend the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) 1) reject the Company's proposed PBR regime in favor of the regime proposed by PURA itself in the PBR dockets, which benefits from several years of stakeholder input in its development, and 2) incorporate elements into the revenue cap formula that reduce the revenue requirement by millions of dollars and produce more just and reasonable -- and affordable -- rates.
