Acadia Center Testimony in CT Energy & Technology Committee
Acadia Center submitted written and oral testimony to support HB 7017 (Legislation focused on Grid-Enhancing Technologies) and SB 1523 (An Act Promoting Energy Efficiency). Acadia Center specifically expressed support for the incentivization of GETs and how these technologies are to reduce transmission and ratepayer costs. For SB 1523, Acadia Center honed in on the potential for Section 5 of the bill to create an uncontested proceeding for the future of gas, and the critical need to move away from natural gas.
