Clean Energy and Consumer Advocate Protest

Acadia Center and other clean energy advocates filed a protest in Docket ER22-1528 on April 21, 2022 asking FERC to reject ISO-New England’s proposal to delay the removal of the Minimum Offer Price Rule (MOPR) that harms clean energy in New England and subsidizes gas generators. In this protest Acadia Center asks FERC to instead direct ISO-New England to eliminate the MOPR now, according to its original promise to the region, so that state clean energy policy can advance.
