Considerations for LDC and Consultant Use of 2050 Roadmap and 2030 Clean Energy Climate Plan in D.P.U. Docket 20-80

Acadia Center's letter to the natural gas distribution companies of Massachusetts and the Department of Public Utilities commenting on analysis of the 2030 Clean Energy and Climate Plan and the 2050 net zero roadmap – both of which call for sharp decreases in the use of gas in Massachusetts to meet climate targets. The letter points out the lack of transparency or stakeholder involvement in the DPU’s 20-80 proceeding on gas planning, and, shortly after sending, Acadia Center was invited to join the stakeholder advisory group.
