Massachusetts 2025/2030 Clean Energy & Climate Plan

Massachusetts has released its final Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2025 and 2030, the Commonwealth’s plan to meet its decarbonization goals. Through the Plan takes strong steps toward electrification and energy efficiency, it also: 1) repeats previous critical modeling errors 2) is less ambitious on full electrification from previous reports 3) contains no wide-scale plan for decommissioning the gas system and 4) does not include necessary electric vehicle charging deployment targets.
